Providing quality therapy for individuals and couples in-person in Roseville, and virtually throughout California ✧ Email or Text us

Much like a sculptor reveals what is already there, therapy is a process that uncovers more about ourselves: our strengths, our needs, our wounds, the answers we may not know we have. Healing becomes possible once we accept where we are, and allow ourselves to change. Life itself is our greatest teacher, shaped by our relationships and often by events outside our control, and sometimes we need support to learn and grow along the way.

MY APPROACH

I look through a holistic lens, seeing the whole person, mind, body, heart, and gut, beyond the symptoms in front of me. Experience and training have taught me that we all have many parts that have formed over time through our relationships and experiences, and that the body and mind hold both the struggle and the solution. Challenges often surface first as a felt sense in the gut or the chest, before they ever become a thought, and the ability to work through them lives in that same place. Working mindfully with the body, mind, and all the parts of the Self is often how we get to resolution, insight, and peace.

I see my role as a steady, attuned collaborator, humble and curious, without an agenda. Our work together may help you recognize how your patterns and experiences have shaped your life. I hold unconditional positive regard for where you've been and for the resilience that brought you here, and I allow what presents in the room to guide the work, building from your existing strengths rather than a fixed protocol. Above all, I want to help you tap into the wisdom you already carry, and the clarity and confidence you need to move forward.

MY EDUCATION

I received my Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University, and my Master’s degree in Social Work, from the University of Alabama.

My additional training includes:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT / Tapping)

  • Brainspotting with David Grand, Ph.D.: The Brain-Body Based Therapy for Treating Trauma (Seminar)

  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) — University of Massachusetts

  • Healing the Traumatized Brain & Body: Complex Trauma Certification Training Level 1 & 2 (CCTP/CCTP-II) - In Progress

Outside of work, I spend time with family and friends, cooking, hiking, watching movies. I love a good long walk in the hills and after dinner strolls. Traveling the world is a passion of mine, and my mornings are sacred. I've kept an early-rising, sit-outside-and-be-still practice for years now, which is a small daily ritual of grounding in body, mind, heart, and soul that I can’t imagine living without.
