MEET OUR THERAPISTS FAQs
-
Feeling that your therapist is a good fit is one of the most significant elements of successful therapy, as reported by clients. Clients are encouraged to read each therapists’ profile, and schedule a free consultation call with one or more therapists. Consultation calls can help answer specific questions, and allow you and the therapist to determine if there is likely to be a good fit.
-
Two of the most important commitments from the therapists at Magnolia are continuity of care, and client autonomy. While we anticipate a consultation call will be a good indicator of a successful clinical relationship, should a client determine they would like to switch to another therapist later, our counselors will meet that request with respect and work to facilitate continuity of care between themselves and a new therapist.
-
Yes! Every therapist at Magnolia offers online sessions, conducted via a HIPAA-compliant version of Google Meet.
-
Our therapists represent a spectrum of specialties. Many overlap, but not every clinician may offer couples therapy, or other specialties. It’s recommended potential clients either review each therapists’ profile, schedule a consultation call to discuss specifics, or contact us via phone, text, or email to be directed to a therapist who specializes in the desired approach.
-
Magnolia Therapy is proud to be on the frontline of providing menopause-informed therapy for clients, as well as educating therapists. We have several therapists at Magnolia who are trained in and provide Menopause-Informed Therapy. To find a therapist within the specialty, please view therapist bios, check out the Menopause Therapy info page, or contact us to request a list of Menopause-Informed therapists.
